Crossover Markets Launches Crypto ECN in U.S. Amid Regulatory Shift
Crossover Markets is introducing its institutional-grade crypto electronic communication network, CROSSx, to the U.S. market as regulatory clarity improves. The platform, set to go live in Q3 2025, will offer select spot cryptocurrencies to U.S.-domiciled institutions.
Brandon Mulvihill, CEO of Crossover Markets Group, highlighted the firm's strong U.S. ties—with all three co-founders being U.S. citizens and most of the team based stateside. The MOVE follows a shift in regulatory sentiment, with the House Committee on Financial Services designating July 14-18, 2025 as "Crypto Week" to advance key digital asset legislation.
The proposed Clarity Act, which Mulvihill calls "the biggest game changer for the U.S. market since ETFs," is driving institutional confidence. This comes alongside progress on the Genius Act for stablecoins, signaling growing political acceptance of crypto infrastructure.
